  • Vinted User ID: Unique identifier of your Vinted account
  • Vinted Username: Username associated with your Vinted account

2.2 Authentication Information

Vinted Authentication Token: Session token automatically captured from your network requests to allow the extension to interact with the Vinted API on your behalf

2.3 Personal Communications

Vinted Messages: Access to conversations and messages on the Vinted platform for negotiation assistant and automatic messaging features

2.4 Financial Information

Vinted Transactions: Information about your sales and orders (if you access transaction pages)

2.5 Website Content

Vinted Page Content: Items, descriptions, images, prices, categories for AI analysis and listing management

2.6 User Activity

  • Network Requests: Interception of HTTP requests to the Vinted API to capture the authentication token
  • Vinted Interactions: Tracking of actions performed on Vinted pages (navigation, clicks)

2.7 Location

IP Address: Collected during API calls to our backend for security and technical operation reasons

2.8 Locally Stored Data

  • User Preferences: Extension settings (dark mode, active tabs)
  • Custom Templates: Description and message templates created by the user
  • Favorite Lists: Lists of items saved by the user
  • Statistics: Performance data and operation history

3. Data Usage

We use your data only for:

  • Extension Functionality: Allow Vintify to function as an assistant for your Vinted activity
  • AI Analysis: Analyze your products and generate suggestions (prices, descriptions)

4.1 Local Storage

Most of your data is stored locally on your device via the Chrome Storage API:

  • Favorite lists

4.2 Backend Storage

Some data is synchronized with our backend hosted on Vercel:

  • Activity statistics (for analysis and improvement)
  • Authentication data (JWT token for backend connection)
  • Templates and lists (if you choose cloud synchronization)

Database: Supabase (PostgreSQL) - hosted in Europe, GDPR compliant

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except in the following cases:

  • Vinted: Your data is used only to interact with the Vinted API according to your instructions
  • Service Providers: We use third-party services (Vercel for hosting, Supabase for the database) that are required to protect your data
